The ongoing war in Sudan is making hunger much worse, especially in the western Darfur region. According to Global Hunger group , two more towns are facing  famine-level child malnutrition condistins, though official data can not be confirmed at the moment due to lack of availbility. These disruptions are going on due to the fights between the Sudanese army and the RSF paramilitary group. Due to this, the hospitals are damaged ans food scarcity forced million to flee. These condistiosn are creating uncertanity among people and many are displaced, while thousands have been killed.

The humanitarian groups are warning that if more aid would not be available then many more people could die from starvation and violence.
